Every Great Dog
Starts With Understanding

  • Every walk feels like a battle with pulling, barking, or leash reactivity.
  • Visitors make you nervous because your dog jumps, barks, or overwhelms guests at the door.
  • Selective hearing: your dog ignores your commands when called, especially around distractions.
  • You’ve tried everything: treat bribes, online videos, and standard classes haven’t created lasting change.

You’re not alone. Most behavior problems aren’t because your dog is stubborn—they occur because your dog is trying to communicate using instincts we don’t always understand. When you learn to think like a dog, misbehavior turns into calm respect.

Our job is to help you understand what they’re saying, then teach both of you how to work together.

Hi, I’m Clarissa.

I’ve spent years helping families understand their dogs through calm, psychology-based relationship training. With formal degrees in Wildlife Biology and Exotic Animal Training & Management, my career began with a deep foundation in animal behavior and positive reinforcement.

When my family adopted an anxious Australian Shepherd puppy, I quickly realized that traditional obedience drills were missing something essential. By learning how dogs naturally communicate and stepping into a calm, confident leadership role, I saw a total transformation in my own pup.

I don’t believe in forcing obedience through pain, e-collars, or endless treat bribery. Every dog and family is unique, which is why we build personalized training plans that create harmony lasting for years to come.
